Straightlaced, how gender’s got us all tied up is the next film being shown in the Many Faces of Hate Film Series.  From girls confronting media messages about culture and body image to boys who are sexually active just to prove they aren’t gay, this fascinating array of students opens up with brave, intimate honesty about the toll that deeply held stereotypes and rigid gender policing have on all of our lives.

The 9th season of the ADL AZ Many Faces of Hate Film Series continues on Wednesday, December 18th, 6:30 – 8:30 pm, in the Turquoise Room at Scottsdale Community College (SCC).  ADL is once again partnering with SCC to bring films and conversation to the public free of charge.  Films will be held once a month through April.  Each film will be followed by a moderated discussion/Q & A session.

All of the films are free and open to the public.  Follow ADL Arizona on Facebook to get updated information on the monthly films!
